ABOUT US
Rez Nation Photography was created by two friends James Benson (a member of North Caribou Lake & Kerina Wabasse (a member of Webeque First Nation). Our goal was to team together and photographing the people of their land, to capture the beauty of their people. Later, another photographer was added to the team, Paige Fiddler (a member of Sandy Lake First Nation). All three have been recognized for their work in their community, including their involvement with the SEVEN Youth Media Network.
Rez Nation welcomed a new sista to der crew. Ruthann D. Sackaney from Kashechewan First Nation, all the way from James Bay ehh! Where Bannock is from, hehehe :P
Rez Nation Photography has been asked to do various photoshoots from Weddings to schools from Ppomotion sessions to community events. RNP takes serious consideration into meeting all your needs so when booking us, you are sure to get the best service! RNP is stationed in three communities they are: Sandy Lake, Weagamow Lake & Webeque. If you require our service in your community, please email us! We are willing to travel as long as travel, meals and accomodations are provided by the person inviting the team. The type of photography we do vary and although our gear is limited, we use what we can (we like to use our creative minds). We shoot in natural light (but in some cases we will rent out studio lights pending on the sessions). On top of that, RNP also does essays, features, and portraits. We specialize in portraiture, headshot, documentary, product, and architectural/ location photography.
